About Me

After working as an actor in the Uk for a number of years, I realised I was consistently being called to speak firstly from a Movement perspective. This language seemed natural to me and one I had been cultivating for years, quietly yet rigorously. Now, I solely work as a Movement Director / Choreographer and am delighted by this turn my career has taken. I am my best self in the rehearsal room.

Working with bodies – sweat, hearts, shapes, connections – takes me to many different places in theatre/s and beyond. I am currently in post at Leeds College of Music (LCoM) where as Performance Coach I support the Post Graduate Creative Musicians.

In 2013 I gained an MA with Distinction in Somatic Movement – this experiential training underpins all the work I do.

London is my working base though I often travel to Leeds and Scotland has been good to me. I work frequently for BOP theatre company and I am often in inclusive rooms/environments. And Home? Home is in Coimbra, Portugal.

MA with Distinction: Dance and Somatic Wellbeing. UCLAN Preston 2013.
